2022 is also the European Youth Year. You can read more here: https://europa.eu/youth/year-of-youth_en . The organizers of the IRDO 2022 international conference have decided to take this opportunity to help young Ukrainian musicians in Slovenia. On behalf of young musicians, the SMO Institute, the Gallus Foundation and the Institute for the Development of Social Responsibility, we therefore invite you to help young Ukrainian musicians in Slovenia.

THIS IS A SOCIAL PROJECT CHARGED WITH THE SUPERPOWER OF MUSIC
During first days of war Slovenian and Ukrainian Youth Orchestras established urgent collaboration in effort to evacuate young musicians and their relatives from all over Ukraine to Slovenia. Our goal is to move these people to a safe environment where they can continue both general and musical education, which is their first mission and life goal, in the best possible context. We provide assistance in evacuation from Ukraine, first humanitarian aid, as well as accommodation, concert activities together with assistance for longer family stay.
